What is maderotherapy?

Maderotherapy (wood therapy) is a special type of anticellulite massage, which is performed with specially designed wooden rolling pins, rollers and cups.

It originated in Colombia, but because of its fast results and holistic approach, this kind of massage is becoming an increasingly popular global trend.

Besides treating cellulite, maderotherapy is also successfully used as an anti-aging massage.

The wooden elements used for massage are specially-shaped. There is a great advantage in maderotherapy, over ordinary anti-cellulite and anti-aging massage.

These elements provide more intense pressure on fibrous cellulite and stimulate collagen production (an important fact for face massage).

Fat deposits are removed together with all other toxins in the body, and in the face, in a completely non-invasive way, we get a visibly improved tone and lift-up effect.

How to use maderotherapy tools?

The technique of maderotherapy involves a series of repeated movements. Using more than ten different wooden instruments, we stimulate the lymphatic system and release all accumulated toxins in it.

There are defined rules when we use each element. We usually start treatment with more “aggressive” models, to stimulate deep cellulite, and after that, we treat superficial cellulite.

Between each rolling pin, we do lymphatic drainage with a specially designed massage board. At the end of the treatment, we use wooden bells for vacuum massage, and after it, we perform lymphatic drainage again.
